Chorus' Favorite Game Bracket: Hub Thread Video Game

hi everyone let's do this grotesque thing

128 games, one winner. bracket hosted on Challonge, voting done via smaller threads that will all be accumulated here.

20 users submitted a list of their favorite video games.

the final participants were selected using the following criteria in the following order:
1) the amount of submissions a game got. for example, say Super Mario 64 got 16 submissions and 16 submissions was the highest amount of submissions received for a game, it was automatically in and is seeded number one. if Ocarina of Time received 15, It would be number two. so on and so forth.
2) if any games tied in amount of submissions received, their seeding was determined by their Metacritic scores. if the Metacritic score was a tie, i deferred to the alphabetical order of the titles.

That being said I already feel it in my bones that I probably don’t like the game that wins lolol

 

yw i love a good bracket here and there

i feel like there's a 50 percent chance i like the game that wins

 

The game that wins is probably going to be a crowd-pleaser like FFVII or one of the 3D Mario games or something. I'd be happy with a result like that.

 

Personally I hate pleasing the crowd. I hope something like Red Dead 2 or the ending of Mass Effect 3 wins

Oh yeah I forgot to put my name on mine too @Shrek. Mine is the one that starts with Chrono Trigger, FFVI, FFXII, and FFVII.

 

Thank you for putting in the work to actually seed everything correctly and not just throwing a bunch of games on a bracket.

actually so many lists are being submitted anonymously that's not going to prove feasible to resubmit or edit. once you submit its locked in!

 

just so you know who already submitted to prevent double submissions and to let you confirm if any stragglers at the end of the week need more time or not
