Has anyone messed around with Miitomo? It's cute and fun.

 

Still trying to download Miitomo. My work wifi is terrible so I might have to wait until I get home.

 

Not yet available in my country, unfortunately.

Can't wait to play it. What is it like?

 

It's essentially a mobile version of Tomodachi Life. It doesn't have nearly the same features of that game (for some reason I really liked feeling my Miis food and that's not here at all), but there's a lot of connection between your various social networks. The one downside is that if you want to friend someone you can't use a VR code that you can generate - that's strictly for getting a copy of that Mii. It's the first day I've messed around with it, but so far so good!

It's also a battery drain, but that's just kind of how it goes.

 

Yeah, just wait until you're in a better connected area. It takes forever to download on good Wifi.

 

Ugh that sounds like something I would love. Feels like I'm missing out. Seeing all those miitomo missions on MyNintendo isn't helping either.

 

Really love Miitomo so far. Pretty much what I wished Tomodachi Life was.

 

I haven't been able to sign up for the Nintendo Account since it first popped up. I get as far as the email verification process but I never get the email. I've checked the spam folder and everything, I have no clue what's wrong.

 

I registered via NNID and it worked fine for me. How did you register?

PS Zelda Picross and Warioware Touched are myNintendo rewards. Woo.

 

I spent a little longer than I should admit on Miitomo today, it's a fun diversion.

 

I also tried using my NNID but have had no luck. I might try entering a different e-mail and see if it works.

edit: Looks like using an email from another provider worked right away. Of course!

 

I hope Miitomo survives after the initial boost of popularity (e.g. Draw Something). It's an awesome idea that Nintendo came up with and would like to see it go further. Hope they bring it to 3DS at some point if that's possible.

 

Given the amount of rewards you can get from Miitomo, I think it has a good chance of surviving.

How fun is it?

 

Miitomo is fun, I need that Twilight Princess Picross, I spent roughly 100 hours on Pokemon Picross.

 

Downloaded Zelda Picross the other day. It's awesome, although pretty dangerous that they removed the energy aspect of Pokemon Picross that cuts you off after you play a certain amount.

 

Want so hard, but went with Warioware Touched instead, just for the novelty of starting a DS game folder. I'm very cool.

 

warioware touched is actually one of my favorite games ever.

 

I like it, too. The whole series is great. Smooth Moves is a blast with a small group. I can't believe there isn't an iteration for 3DS seems like it could be stellar.

 

I doubt any Warioware game will ever live up to Twisted for me

 

I never played any of the Warioware games. I really should fix that.

 

wario is my second favorite mario character (toad being my fave) solely because of warioware touched and warioland 4

 

He definitely has the most untapped potential, I love all the characters/city residents from Warioware, it's a shame they've never made it into Wario Land.

 

Loved the Wario games on the GB back in the day. Had a lot of fun playing them they were so different to Mario think I actually preferred them ha.

 

Wario Land 3 is still one of my faves, and Wario Ware Twisted, Touched, and Smooth Moves are all fun.
I also main Wario in Smash to compensate for a lack of Waluigi...
