Any serious United manager would be giving the team hell and making 3 changes at halftime. Options on the bench are shite, but something needs to change. Of course, for Amorim it'll just be "more of the same lads"

Just a thought RE: Frank getting sacked. Do we think we'll ever see a time where the concept of a contract for a manager just "disappears." Not sure how it would work yet, but teams like Watford seem to do it already lol

Probably a hot take as well but I'm comfortable having Disambiguation - Define The Great Line - Voyeurist as my Top 3 now. Lost In The Sound has a couple songs that I find weaker than the rest or that I don't reach for these days whereas Voyeurist is a blast front to back. Just held back a little by the production, but the Digital Ghost version fixes some of my gripes.

He also wasn't the only one in the band strugging with substance abuse if I remember well? It was probably a much needed break from each others for all of them.

Sobriety choices often have a habit of feeling personal, indecipherable, and frustrating all at once to those involved. I wouldn't fault Anthony or the band for how it all went down without knowing more - just a bummer all-around (but also maybe what needed to happen)

Is there anything more tedious in all of football discourse than a “XX/YY Combined 11”, especially when they get it so clearly wrong that you know they’re fishing for interactions?

  27. sawhney[rusted]2 liked Zilla's post in the thread Movie Caught Stealing (Darren Aronofsky, August 29, 2025).

Thought this was okay. Aronofsky is a solid action director and it always helps with Matthew Libatique is your cinematographer. I guess maybe I was expecting the humor to be a little bit more snappy, so it felt a little off. Agreed with the tonal whiplash, but overall had a good time. If this was made in the 2000s, it would have gone triple platinum on DVD in the dorms.
