This show is extremely wild. Just finished it and wow A LOT happened in those last thirty minutes I DID NOT see coming. Man, what an emotional journey haha. on the unsent texts discussion, I think the emotional justification of that whole plotline is . What ends up happening does suck though bc I would’ve loved to see that play out.

Weirdest part of all the renewed Watson rumors to me is that, not only are the Dolphins not a playoff team this year (they're functionally eliminated from the playoffs already unless they all but win out)...but the options next offseason are crazy Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson are gonna be demanding trades as well....and the WR FA/trade market could be equally impressive...feels so weird to pull the trigger on a Watson trade (when he could easily be suspended/indicted/in jail) rather than wait and dump the capital into next offseason

Oh, I'm not talking about the bands and whether or not they might want to play the festival... I'm talking more about whether or not the festival might want to book them. I just feel like booking Plain White T's is in that same category as booking like, Smash Mouth or Sugar Ray but less popular. I know where they started but they are so far removed from that and have made virtually no effort to stay connected to that "scene." I just don't think Riot would view them as a very good fit. Whereas LBC is a perfect fit. I'm not sure if they've ever reached out, but I'd imagine they must have. AM Taxi would be great too! I always had a weird thing against them because of some shenanigans once at a show. The TL;Dr version is their stage manager made me and my friends move from our spot on the floor so the singer could pull a rock star move and "throw his guitar" into the crowd (the manager caught it). This was at a 200-capacity venue and they were first of three opening for the Lawrence Arms. Just struck me as kind of a dick move. Haha. But whatever. They rule.

Rewatched Jurassic Park in theaters during it's 3D re-release and was genuinely floored by how good it still is. The dialogue/performances have so much life to it, and even several CGI shots held up better than expected. Somehow the dinos in the original remain more convincing than the hyperdetailed movie monsters in the Jurassic World films. Far as I can tell the main thing that ages it to any noticeable degree is paleontology.

I remember reading about some of this years ago, definitely interesting. Hate to say it, but I don't think I've watched an Orson Welle's film yet! It's usually difficult for me to get into most of what I've seen pre-seventies, but I'd imagine Citizen Kane holds up better than most of that stuff

Ready or Not was filmed around the corner from me. Parkwood (exterior shots and some of the interior) and Casa Loma (interior shots) are both super cool locations. Wish I knew it was being filmed as it was happening, would have tried to snoop around.
