I have two toddlers. Trolls was my four year old’s first movie he really attached to because he loves music and the songs grabbed his attention. I have seen it way, way too many times. The sequel less so. He watched the trailers excitedly for months, but the movie itself left him fairly indifferent. We asked him after it was over how he liked it and he said he liked the first one better. Basically if you have kids say goodbye to watching things you want to watch for a long, long time. Sometimes I luck out and can get my son into some shows and movies with good writing. Sometimes.

can y'all even imagine if we still had the release date as 4/24? lotta bad things about this situation we're in, arguably nothing but, but getting this early isn't one of them bc i feel like putting this on is the what i look forward to doing the most on most days. not to be hyperbolic or too sincere on main but this is the kind of record that makes me believe in art and remember what it's possible to feel when you really connect with something and aren't just consuming for the sake of it. i feel like every listen is more and more rewarding for me and i really love this a lot :)

We always knew the Rams cap situation was fucked...but I couldnt imagine them bailing on it so soon. Literally play it out til next year (and honestly, with COVID, they might not even have to do that) and it gets better. Funniest part is if you do the math all the way back, the Pats traded the pick that became Ryan Ramcyzk for Cooks...and the pick they got back from the Rams became Isaiah Wynn, which is a HUGE loss for the Pats by comparison. And the Rams, my god...they basically handed the Titans most of their offense (Conklin, Henry, Jonnu Smith, Corey Davis) via the trade for Goff. edit: Actually, the Rams basically mortgaged their future to lose to the Pats in the SB, but got a measure of revenge by handing the Titans 90% of their team (named Derrick henry) to cost them Tom Brady for good
