i just watched the sun set in game and eventually the the stars and it was just so calming. the graphics itself isn’t the best thing i’ve seen on Switch but Monolith really knows how to design open worlds map. they really nail the feeling of being in this massive world and just using space really really well. i’m not sure if i’ve seen other games do it in this scale. also not sure if i’m describing this correctly considering they also made part of BotW they’re really just become one of my fav devs in recent years and I hope they never stop making games
See with the 3DS version I think it's impressive that they even got it to run on there. Whereas the Wii one doesn't even have that lol.
They would have to revamp the item system since a lot of it revolved around trading tickets from the online portion.
found a really good tutorial for understanding the combat of XC1 and what the stats do. I didn't want to include the thumbnail just in case people want to go in blind - Link the only spoiler here is it shows you future party members (which i didn't mind)
I found out that, if you save before you open a chest dropped from a monster, you can just keep trying until you get the item you want. This is going to save so much time.
Xenoblade Chronicles is my all time favorite game. I will replay eventually, but I don't think I am ready yet. The Euro version with the vinyl doesn't feature the main theme? What the....?
Twice now there has been an item that is hard to get and the only person to trade for it only does so before you make them move to a different city, and you find this out after you have had the option to do that. It is frustrating. Worst of all is the Ice Cabbage. It has a very low spawn rate in the wild, but you can't track it like other orbs because it is from a series of missions to rebuild a city and does not work the same as all other sidequests. I remember spending hours looking for it before.
