I could go with Pioneer or LLL but I went with Pioneer just because that album will always be really special to me

    Top 3:

    LLL
    American Candy
Pioneer (would be higher if they trimmed 2-3 songs out of the middle)

Between You Are Okay and American Candy for me. LLL wasn’t immediate for me like the others.

i didn't vote for it but the lack of love for Black and White is upsetting

  9. Black & White has some decent stuff, but that’d be a wild favorite record to have by this band. I get why it doesn’t have any votes so far

You Are OK by a mile. LLL, Forever Halloween, and Black & White are all good (they’ve had a weird “every other” thing going for me) but I continue to believe they tapped into something special on the last one.

If you didn’t vote for it, how can it be upsetting that most have the same opinion?

You Are OK is the only one I've really listened to but it's great.

If you had asked me this prior to You Are OK coming out, the answer would have easily been LLL. But You Are OK is a staggeringly great record that managed to top LLL, which I didn't think would be possible.

    You Are OK
    LLL
    Black & White
    American Candy
    Pioneer
    Can't Stop Won't Stop
    Forever Halloween

Also shout out to The Way We Talk EP. I remember being so hyped on that EP when it was coming out and telling all my friends in high school that this band The Maine was going to be great. I was right.

It’s the lyrical content and cohesiveness of LLL as a record, front to back, that sets it apart for me. To me it’s truly not even a close race.

LLL is a smidge better than YAOK for me, they’re both easily their best records tho

I'll go to bat for American Candy here. Wall to wall bangers and a good bridge between their first few releases and LLL/YAO.

I saw them support New Found Glory and Taking Back Sunday in the Pioneers era. Remember loving “Some Days”. They’re one of those “must catch up on” bands for me

  25. Some Days is for sure a wayyy underrated track in their discog. I know it was the lead single from Pioneer but it felt like it got swept under the rug pretty quickly
