I think Iowa is probably the most solid all around release, but I find myself putting on the self titled more often than not. So many good sing alongs on that one.

Iowa is their best, just the anger and passion on that is incredible.

It's Iowa and nothing really comes close.

Honestly, Gray Chapter. I felt it was their best mix (so far) of Iowa/self-titled craziness with the actual songwriting prowess they developed from Vol. 3 onwards.

Iowa is just blistering. S/T second.

Iowa is number one for me, but I stan All Hope so hard and am voting for it.

  12. I don’t like Vol 3 or Chapter 5. I can’t get into them.

I think Vol. 3 aged pretty well despite being a Rick Ruben production.

  15. Always prefered Vol 3, though I haven't heard the others in way too long.

Vol. 3 and I'm surprised that's a minority opinion. It's a great blend of rage and catchiness. Lyrically, I don't know if Corey has ever been better.

Release My Mind, My Garden Grows

Volume 3 will probably always be my favorite. On top of the singles, Pulse of the Maggots is huge and The Blister Exists plus a few others are top tier gym jams for me

I love their first 3 albums immensely so it's really hard to choose between them, but I'm very sentimental so the S/T gets my vote.

Iowa with the self-titled being my second favorite.

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

plus the run from Vermilion to Pt. 2?? arguably their most gratifying and successful experimentation

Same with me. Never got into anything post Iowa. I was listening to less and less heavy stuff by the time the 3rd album came out, so they kind of drifted from my memory. It's only been recently I've started listening to them again.

I've continued listening to heavy stuff. Probably even got into heavier stuff since then, but I kinda lost interest in Slipknot post-Iowa. I've only listened once through, but the new record surprised me. I liked it a lot more than I expected to. Probably gonna try to catch their tour next month. I saw them a bunch in the early days but stopped going and haven't seen them in at least 6-7 years.
