Siren Songs is sooooo so good. I love that album so damn much.

That said, I didn't know half of these records existed.

 

It's between Siren and Sufferer. I went for Sufferer.

The last 3 albums just didn't click with me. Sounds like safe radio rock and nothing really interesting going on so I've barely gone back to them more than a couple times.

Sufferer got me into the band. I still remember seeing the music video for The Good Left Undone on TV. Record is great from start to finish. I think there's a lot to like on Appeal To Reason as well, although it isn't as strong overall.

I heard them the first time playing NFSU2. Then lost track of them and a few years later a former friend of mine came up with "The Sufferer [...]". Voted for Siren Song though. It was the album I heard the most.

suffer and siren are both so good it’s like 1a and 1b for me. I included ghosts cuz I love acoustic rise against. One of the very few bands that can do it really well given their style of music

 

Three album run from RPM through Sufferer is one of the greatest threepeats in punk, if not in all of rock. Amazing consistency and progression. Never could recapture that magic but are still capable of pumping out solid tunes.

Haven’t heard the others. RPM being my favorite is not even close though, very easily their best imo

 

Siren Song and Sufferer and pretty much equal to my eyes but I went for the former in the end. It's classic after classic

 

I discovered them through NFSU2 too, but it took me a couple more years to check them out.

RPM to Sufferer is one of the best three album stretches in the punk genre. Sirens was the first album I bought with my own money at 16 and changed my music tastes forever. Sadly I fell out of love with the band after Appeal To Reason and can't get into the new stuff. It doesn't have the urgency/passion that made the first 4 albums special and led them to be one of my first "favorite bands". Glad they've reached sustained success though and couldn't be happier for the guys in the band.

 

Really tough one. Band was on fire for that entire run from RPM to Appeal to Reason, and all four of those albums are basically a tie for me.

I’ll go with Siren Song because it’s probably their most cohesive batch from that era. I do wish someone would remaster it, though.

Endgame is easily their worst. Broken Mirror has that annoying, generic guitar riff that I'm pretty sure they ripped off, it is such a bad song.
