it’s let love in, but skeleton tree is incredible

 

The Boatman’s Call is one of my favorite albums. Easily top of the list for me.

 

Murder Ballads is my favorite album ever.

 

Is there supposed to be a poll? Or is the fact he's done so much made it almost impossible to pick just a small amount?

 

His scores to The Assassination of Jesse James By the Coward Robert Ford and The Proposition with Warren Ellis are probably my favourites of his. The Firstborn is Dead is probably my favourite Bad Seeds album. Yet to give The Birthday Party a listen, that's next on the list. Grinderman's first album is also bloody good.

 

Yeah, when it comes to a lot of older artists, I'm not going to pick and choose. It's especially tough since I'm not sure I've even heard a Nick Cave song lol

Let Love In, but honestly Push the Sky Away is maybe my second-favorite, was also my entry point to his catalog tho so that's why. Boatman's Call is third, then Skeleton Tree probably? Not sure

 

I’ve only heard a handful, but The Boatman’s Call just towers over for me
