Missing a few there but: Jupiter Antenna Until Your Heart Stops White Silence Beyond Hypothermia Perfect Pitch Black
I always felt like Antenna got a lot of unneeded hate. Never felt like that much of a departure from Jupiter and has some of my fave Cave In songs.
Antenna is a fantastic record and the only thing wrong it is that the major label didn't back them enough for it to get off the ground.
I picked Jupiter but on any given day it could be any of them. I don’t really count Beyond Hypothermia because it’s a compilation but whatever
I know I shouldn't be allowed to post here since a I know of them is there earlier stuff (only just listened to Jupiter for the first time this morning even) but the fact that no one voted for Until Your Heart stops yet is a calamity Easily one of the GOAT -core albums evar
One day I was listening to this ep in the car. When Innuendo and out the other came on a friend turned to me and said "This is the scariest thing I've ever heard. Who is it?!"
I originally put Perfect Pitch Black, but changed it to Antenna as felt it needs to get more love. It was the album that introduced me to them and listening to it not long after Calab passed really choked me up and made me realise how good them album is and the impact it had on me as 19/20 year old getting into heavier/more psychedelic music.
I think Trepanning off PPB is the perfect Cave In song, though. When they played it at the Caleb benefit show in London, I had tears in my eyes.
