Iridescence Ginger Roadrunner (so far) Sat III Sat II Saturation This site definitely does not reflect the average BH fan. The reddit still has people wishing they'd replicate the Saturation sound even though we now have as many albums post-Sat as the trilogy. Worth noting too is that every single album of theirs is a grower for me. Took me a loooong time to "get" Iridescence and a long time to not be underwhelmed by Ginger.
Iridescence Sat III Sat I Sat II Ginger Is how I'd rate them, too early to rank Roadrunner but it's about the same level as Ginger right now.
definitely gonna have to check out Iridescence (and the the others again) - I'm loving ROADRUNNER but haven't really ever heard anything else outside of selected tracks from the Saturation series and American Boyfriend
Iridescence is one of my favorite albums of all time. The new album might even top it though. This group hasn't released anything bad yet. (AAT is the only one I'm meh about but I don't really count it)
If you combine the SATURATION trilogy into one album it's easily my favorite, if not I go SATIII Iridescence RR (could go up) SATII SATI Ginger All-American Trash (their first mixtape that apparently nobody knows about but everybody should check out)
I don't really think of AAT as an album, it's definitely them figuring out their sound and just pairing up members for songs and seeing what works lol it has moments though, "Palace" is one of the best BH songs ever
Iridescence Saturation III Saruration II Ginger Saturation I It's so funny how this site specifically fucks with Iridescence, maybe we'll be on the right side of history in a few more years' time! And Roadrunner I'm gonna spend a bit more time with but it'll likely end up around Sat III area-ish
I don't think I will ever like them as much as I did during the early Saturation trilogy, but Iridescence is their best.
This site also fucks (or fucked, in the case of Kanye) with Big Fish Theory and Yeezus, so it def makes sense that there's a crowd for Iridescence here
I am surprised with how much this site fucks with Iridescence. I like some songs but it’s not really my jam compared to the rest of their discography. It’s also funny since they were once asked to rank their records (during the Ginger era) and they ranked it last.
Also, I loved Yeezus but can’t stand Kanye to the point that his discography has been ruined for me now sadly.
