really wild how incredible a song "Harmony Hall" is

The first time I heard Harmony Hall it felt like a song I had known for years, literally an instant classic

 

The lyrics have only grown more haunting and relevant in 2021, too.

 

the guitarist for me and my wife's wedding was able to learn the acoustic riff of "Harmony Hall" for us and played it while we walked out

just an absolutely beautiful song forever

My wife & I walked out to the reception to this song too. Played the chorus though to get the energy up. Didn't shell out the cash for a live performer, so kudos to you guys for doing it up!

While I refuse to pay attention to “album is coming” talk from Ezra it feels encouraging that he used the word “we” multiple times when talking about writing and recording. Hopefully this means that the other guys are back in the fold.

the quality obviously didn’t dip at all between modern vampires and FOTB but it makes me sad to think of the other guys as touring members.

 

FOTB was good but I feel like there was something missing without Rostam fully involved. Mainly in some of the background textures and instrumentation

 

FOTB is an excellent album but it's also their most straightforward. Hope they bring some of the eccentricity back.

 

FOTB is my favorite album from the band, easily

 

I would take FOTB II in the blink of an eye hah
