Never heard them before but I'm into that song

 

Wow, the album cover is literally just a black square. I kinda wish it was a bit more creative... maybe the packaging will be interesting? If we see a physical copy this side of the Pacific.

Edit: now that I think about it, Ikkyu always has that Revolver guitar strap. Maybe making this album cover black is a reference to The White Album? Maybe a stretch, but that would make it more interesting.

the rest are spelled in japanese romaji. interesting that its just Black and not Pure Black haha, so who knows if the itunes translation is completely accurate either lol

 

This thing is out now, excited to finally listen! Looks like we aren't getting any American physical release yet, though... I really need them to do that and get out here on tour again.

Edit: just finished my first listen. I don't want to sound hyperbolic, but this is really good. Like in the running for their best.

 

definitely blown away by the first listen! fourth song was my initial favorite. so glad they continue to write progressive and psychedelic music!

I don't have much to add here, but I'm really enjoying this.

 

i can tell that Afureru and Naka (previously released singles) were recorded in a different session or at least mixed by someone else, the two guitarists are panned to different sides for those two songs. love the changes to Naka! the additional guitar parts really made that song awesome

 

This album is so good. What an incredibly consistent band! This needs more love!

 

need more info on a US release!! i want the LP dammit!!

they did a really really awesome livestream! the set includes the whole new album and a bunch of favorites. the first song even has an awesome extended outro (can someone rip the audio from that? lol) really great quality, and it's only up to watch until the 20th i think so don't miss out!

 

The band just announced a new album called 10 out October 21st.

we never even really got an "official" release of this record over here!

 

The 2 new singles on Spotify are awesome. This band never fails to impress me with their creative instrumentation.
