The $28k in FL is base, basically but I’ve been one for 6 years and don’t make much more than that which is pathetic (that they give you no incentives to stay). Frustrating to because it just totally depends on the department and hiring manager but a lot of times they’ll list a range of like $28k-$55k or something insane just to get applicants in the door. The only way around it is to use my 6 years experience as leverage and leave to go to another department that is looking for someone more “senior” level. It’s just dumb because the job duties are almost always the same….”help with whatever we ask you to do” I personally filled 3 admin spots myself last year and honestly don’t need any extra help. Still finish early. They’re making me hire a new admin to fill one of the positions who left last year just to save that hiring spot. So dumb. They could just pay me like $5k more and I’d stay instead of paying a new employee 28k hopefully all that made sense, I’m ranting and typing via phone haha
Yeah 28k isn’t much and I probably make around that right now. But I have growth opportunity. My ex made it sound like starting wage starting wage was around $20 or something with no experience. Made it sound like this awesome job.
What the hell, it literally does not show up for me in general chat. General chat only shows as 2 pages of threads and that is not listed (among many other ones)
Yeah wtf, the oldest posts in the General forums are from 2021, but that thread in particular's newest post is in 2020
makes no sense as though there was just an abundance of threads clogging up space in there or something
i love getting “hey are you busy?” texts and then after I work up the courage to answer with something like, “what’s up?” I don’t hear back from them for six months. Guess they got busy??
These “teen” movies where everyone has a car and when they park it at school they keep the windows down or top down
When I pack for a trip and always forget something. In this instance I have packed an excessive amount of underwear and no socks.
When I'm in a drive thru and am super close to the speaker but can't order because all the cars ahead of me just need to scoot up a tiny bit so I can be close enough
Finally got my credit from Uber. After a week of back and forth and then ignoring me, then trying to tell me they couldn’t credit me because of policy (despite their policy), I argued and said how were they following policies if they weren’t going to credit me for a late driver.
Pretty sure the guy above me is discarding his cigarette butts on the grass area in front of my unit. Where they’re located appears to be if he were to throw them from his front patio. I just noticed it when I walked across the grass. I complained before Several times about him letting his trash fall into the space near my door. I took pictures and will have to notify the office tomorrow. It’s just gross and littering. Does he not own an ash tray? Edit: there’s at least 20 that I counted
