Oasis is spoken about with a lot more reverence than most of the late-'90s bands discussed here right now. I feel like very few people are sheepish to say Oasis is their favorite band, but broadcasting your love for the Goo Goo Dolls is inherently less cool.
oasis is my favorite band. idk how many times i’ve publicly said that wonderwall fits into the convo with black balloon and slide of pop rock songs that rule
Oasis is incredible, those first 3 albums, The Masterplan album, and all the other B-Sides from that era are untoppable
I’m always surprised when I meet someone who hasn’t heard Definitely Maybe or (What’s the Story) Morning Glory. They seem like they should be essential listening touchstones even more than they are.
be here now is every bit as high of highs as the first two, also. just a bit more bloated from the excess.
The highs on that record are incredible. Definitely a few songs I don't love, though, and a few that just go on for too long.
standing on the shoulders of giants is my favorite oasis album but people aren’t ready for that conversation yet
Here for this new album. Going to go down a Wallflowers rabbit hole after Craig’s recent review of Bringing Down The Horse.
