But it's an official picture. Warped Tour didn't photoshop him out. The Used's team who sent WT their promo photo did it. So it IS an official move on their part, even if it was not posted directly on The Used's sites/social media. It's completely safe and logical to assume that Justin is no longer in the band. They wouldn't photoshop him out of a press photo just because he wasn't going to tour with the band for a bit due to a family matter. This is a move you'd make for a permanent change.

 

Joe should just play a double axe guitar, top part bass, bottom part guitar. No replacement.

I dunno, if you had told me 4 years ago that Burt their main song writer and guitar player would have been done in like he was, I would have also said "I just can't see Quinn out of the band".

I honestly never thought The Used would be around this long, so whenever they hang it up I'd be okay with it. Especially as someone who loved The Canyon, I think this would be a good time to call it a wrap. But it seems like they're going to keep plugging, will be very interesting to see how they handle this.

Still more significant to me that he's photoshopped out of the Warped picture. The other one prob just hasn't been changed. I'm not really invested enough to try to detective anything else though lol

 

The lineup for that festival was announced in November 2017, so Justin probably left the band after that, before now.

I don't really care about this band enough anymore to do research about what could have happened with Justin. I'd have been all out on that if we were like 10 years ago though.

 

@TUG everything's going to be ok, the band will be ok no matter what happens, there are bigger fish to fry! Don't stress!
