Goth Boi Clique could probably do it as a group. Wicca has his connection to TJ and the rest of them haven't made their love of Warped/metal music a secret. Also they got that Peep cred
Two years ago maybe when they hadn't kicked Michael out. This album without Michael is going to either make or break them with their fanbase. The way they kicked Michael out of the band seemed really shitty to a lot of people. So if this album is mediocre without him, I can see their draw going down.
I’m thinking Issues will be a big draw but a lot of people aren’t happy about the Michael situation so I don’t know much will affect their draw
There’s also the Santa Barbara airport. SB is usually a 20-40 minute drive to Ventura based on traffic
Literally every Issues fan that I know has completely written the band off and said they they'll only see them if they have time and to "watch the train wreck they've become"
Michael was a killer frontman but I’m just curious on how they are going to do without him. I’m honestly more interested in Michael ‘s new band.
I'm not going that extreme with it personally, but they have definitely gone down on my list of priorities.
Honestly I already thought Headspace was a step down from their self titled so as shitty as him leaving is I can't even say if it's a mediocre album it's because he left
Same. I just feel like they all knew before their headliner and decided to keep it a secret from Michael till after their headliner so by kicking him out after instead before it wouldn’t affect their ticket sales which is fucked.
Headspace was a grower for me, where as S/T I really liked it almost instantly. Oh yeah no question about it, they were super shitty to Michael. But it wouldn't be the first time I've continued to listen to a band that did an ex member wrong. I'm just very curious/worried how their third album will be. I've said it before, but AJ, Sky, and Josh are too talented to just be a backing band to a Tyler Carter solo project.
I’ve seen interviews with micheal bohn talking about how controlling certain members of woe is me were so guess he can’t catch a break
I think Austin Thornton was the controlling member of Woe because even after Tyler left all the members were bitching about a controlling member.
I was checking the Monster Stages lineup to see if there were any bands worth checking out, and while The Amity Affliction is still the only band I can justify missing any Owly.fm bands for, I stimbled upon some cool gems. Dayseeker - Really cool instrumentals. Not entirely sold on the vocals, but I like their sound a lot. Sharptooth - Female-fronted, political metalcore is honestly so refreshing. Ice Nine Kills - Real fun theatrical metalcore, which is perfect. I love big-sounding music, although they are a little bit heavy for my tastes. Motionless In White - I'll admit I wrote off this band as a bunch of goth freaks in the past, but I honestly like their singers' voice a lot. I think they do the Pop-Punk/Metalcore contrast as good as ADTR.
Very true. I kind of forget about the Santa Barbara airport because it's so small. I'm not sure of how many airlines actually have flights into the airport.
i’ve seen amity twice in the last year since i really got into them and kinda felt like they were a little underwhelming. motionless is solid, kinda feel like warped this year is a step down for them considering the production for their live sets now
Wage War is a must see for anyone into anything on the monster stage just saying. Same goes for Ice Nine Kills.
Just realized the promotional photo Warped is using for Issues is from an old photoshoot, just with Micheal just photoshopped out
Normally I’m at the monster stages probably the least, but this year I’ll probably be there more than anywhere else! Great line up. Crown the Empire, Ice Nine Kills, Mychildren Mybride, the Amity Affliction, Motionless in White, Sharptooth, etc!
Band - The Used The Used is doing the same thing on the Warped Tour site with their guitarist Justin.
