Interested to hear it. The first one was somewhat out there, but I'm glad he's happy with a creative outlet. I liked his first solo album more, but to each their own.
Comedown Machine and the first two are all on relatively equal footing for me I think Is This It? will always have that lightning in a bottle nostalgic 2001 quality tho
it’s definitely their most Important record, just think the collection of songs are better on the second go around
First Impressions of Earth is still my favorite, but Is This It? and Room on Fire are equally right behind it. Then Comedown Machine, which I dig about half. Not a fan of Angles.
This is one of those bands where I would be satisfied with just about any set list they put together of their material.
Is This It has to be number one for me. It's perfect in its simplicity. Angles starts strong, but fades in my opinion. Under Cover of Darkness is one of the best songs this band has though. Comedown Machine is unique and has moments, but it's the equivalent of a getaway day for this band.
I'm definitely down for new activity from them. Crazy to think it'll be nearly 20 years since Is This It...
