Some new ones: Day Aches - Promo '21 (RIYL grunge revival, nu-gaze type stuff) Old Moon - Altars (Leans into a fuzzy post-punk sound, somewhat reminds me of the newer Ceremony stuff)
Finally some new Mild High Club! Hopefully theres an album coming. I couldn't find any news on an incoming release though.
Made a thread for the new Mild High Club: Mild High Club - Going Going Gone (September 17, 2021) • forum.chorus.fm
I've been wondering when Slow Crush would announce something, loving this. Slightly more ethereal than their other stuff which is a nice change of pace.
Got my hands/ears on the new Deafheaven and it’s going to sit perfectly in this thread. I thought it was a solid Shoegaze record that didn’t really reinvent the wheel but I really enjoyed about 1/3 of the tracks that I’ll revisit in the future.
One of my favorite current artists, Orchid Mantis announced their 6th record is coming out October 1, less than a year out from dropping Far From This World last November which I highly recommend as well if you haven't heard it:
A difficult album to classify but it contains elements of Shoegaze, doom and post rock. They are a duo but have enlisted the help from members of other bands including The Melvins and Mr. Bungle.
