I have just learned that my sister’s boyfriend is gonna propose to her within the next few days. They are out of the country with other family and friends at a resort.

This type of proposal might take the #1 spot for worst proposal ideas. I used to think the public spectacle proposal was #1 but I imagine he’s gonna propose in a restaurant or somewhere in public at the resort so this is like doubly bad/dumb. Basically forcing someone to say yes to avoid an EXTREMELY awkward remainder of the vacation or at the very least a very awkward 6+ hour flight (and 3+ hour drive from the airport) and drive home

Added bonus of them dating for idk, 8 months? Honestly not even sure she’s officially divorced yet lmao

My childhood best friend got proposed to in front of all of her family at her high School graduation party by a guy that was a few years older and she definitely just said yes out of pressure so then they never got married lol

I know there’s a thread for it but I’m posting it here.
I had a dream that I forgot to wear my retainer for one night and one bottom tooth shifted beyond shift and I couldn’t force my retainer in to shift it back. And then it was super mobile and had huge hum recession. I asked my dentist if he can place brackets to move it back and stabilize the tooth and asked if I can get the brackets with ties instead of doors but he said the doors were better for my case but needed a specific door bracket (there isn’t a specific kind). I don’t remember what happened after that. Freaked me out

 

and everyone lived happily ever after?

 

Had the weirdest coincidence happen today. I showed my family pics of my room I painted. My aunt was freaking out asking where I got these pictures I have. I told her I got them at a thrift store. I left the store but couldn’t stop thinking about them so went back to buy them. Well she just told me my great grandma had the exact same pictures!! And I have them hanging above a vase and lamp that belonged to my grandma (her daughter). So I guess that’s my little grandma corner now! Just makes me love my room even more!

 

Got sucked into watching ig reels of men getting haircuts lately. The hook is supposed to be the dramatic contrast from before to after, but it turns out most of them are essentially, “You’re balding with longer hair so I’m going to cut it short, use product for texture, and comb it forward.”

One of my toxic traits is that I like buying stickers of local businesses (record stores, coffee shops, clothing brands, etc.) and bands, but then I never actually put them on anything

 

I recently started junk journaling and have found that all the random stickers I have laying around work great for that. Basically just got a moleskine and cut out stuff from magazines, catalogs, any junk you have around, and make collages in the pages of the notebook. It's really fun and a good, creative way to destress and unwind.
