The Stationary Thread

Couldn't find an existing thread so I'm being the change I want to see

I'm in my pen era. Just ordered these. What are your fave writing utensils/stationary

 

Pentel’s EnerGel RTX .5 mm pen is my favourite general use pen. Writes smoothly, doesn’t smudge, and bleedthrough is minimal

I also prefer writing in purple ink and am picky about how the ink looks—their violet one is just the right amounts of darkness and vibrance for me

 

As a lefty, the lack of smearing is a definite must in a pen. I have also leaned towards using a purple pen as my regular but purple is my favorite color and I just hate the shade of blue that most pens come in. Black is fine but purple preferable

 

I always keep a box of these around. My favorite for years now.

This is a neat YouTube channel that features a ton of Japanese stationary products. I’ve found quite a few cool gifts just from watching the shorts.

Haha, love the “pen era” vibe! I’m a big fan of smooth gel pens - they just glide so nicely. Also can’t resist a good notebook with thick paper, makes writing so much better.
