I listened to this and was like "...why does that arpeggio sound so familiar?"

And then I remembered the Blinded by the Light remix from Appleville lol

 

I’ll have to check it. The only other thing I’ve heard is the umru remix of “crowd” (also a bop).

Agreed, that’s what I love about it. There’s some others on her SoundCloud that I haven’t checked out yet, but all the ones on Spotify are really good

 

You might like this new Nia Archives EP then. It's even more heavily rooted in DnB/dance music in general but it's quite poppy/catchy too.

 

This is pretty cool, parts of it sort of make me think of what Kali Uchis might sound like over dnb/house influenced production

This would probably only qualify as pop music in like 1967 but I didn’t know where else to draw attention to these unreal multi-instrumentalists and their sublime harmonies
