Dehd came up in one of my daily mixes yesterday, quite liked it. Sounded like something that could have dropped on Dais Records

 

hmm. i never really thought of it that way, especially compared to stop making sense, but fair enough

 

I think Fear of Music (“I Zimbra”) is where they first dipped their toes into into, and then RIL and SIT both have heavy elements of it on a lot of songs, and then yes when they play those songs live on SMS they’re like borderline a jam band

Apparently Shabazz Palaces released a new album a couple months ago. It’s weird, I always loved Black Up but never really followed them or heard much after that

 

This isn't "New" but it is one of my favorites of the year

Yeah I posted it in that pop thread and might have mentioned it in here too.

I liked it off first listen but I've been going back to it a lot more than I anticipated. I find it fits basically every mood, so it's easy to throw on any time.
