His House was really good. Very interesting story of guilt, and the refugee aspect of it really set it apart.

Rewatched Host last night, and it was better than I remembered.

Started VHS 94, and mannnn I can’t wait to finish it. That first segment alone was incredible. Absolutely loving the whole vibe of it. Think the last one I saw was 2.

 

I enjoyed it. Trying to decide how to end this holiday rn

 

Y'all calling it Hell House and leaving off the LLC made me think you were talking 1973's The Legend Of Hell House

 

I wish I had shudder - I think I saw vhs years ago but apparently the new one is the best?

The Universal Monsters movies are perfect for that

 

Hellfest if you’re wanting something with a shorter duration and more fun.

 

I settled for malevolent on Netflix but maybe hell fest next

Went to a midnight showing of a local horror play, so I’m off to a late start.

starting with Dolls today.

 

Malevolent was slow but it ended nicely

 

house of wax (2005) was mentioned last page and i just wanted to say i saw it for the first time a few days ago and it’s one of the best ‘00s slashers i’ve ever seen. visually astonishing

 

Hell Fest ten times out of ten. Empty Man is...okay, but not worth its runtime. Bit of a slog.

I wish Hell Fest was streaming on something in Canada

 

Under-appreciated imo, so much of the hype went towards Paris Hilton being in it that the actual movie got overshadowed by it. It’s one of the best movies Dark Castle put out and it makes me happy it’s getting it’s due now.

 

I just saw that girl from the scream tv series in the preview and I don’t love her so I was on the fence
