Haven't seen a thread for them, but new self titled defeater is on the way. Album pre-order is up in international markets with a single and it looks like it was produced by Yip ( or he had some role in it). Comes out 10th of May

 

Absolutely not. I’ve never seen the band before and never thought I’d be able to.

 

Must be because of the significant gap, or coming in with fresh ears, but this is the first Defeater song that I liked enough to put it on repeat since Empty Days & Sleepless Nights. Derek's grittier screams surprised me.

 

Jay Maas is no longer in the band/producing the records so it does sound fresh. I don’t think Joe gets enough credit as a drummer. Dude is extremely talented.

The new Defeater track ain't bad. I like the grit in Derek's vocals, but I miss how present they were in the mix with Jay's production. I'll definitely check the album out.

As long as they drop the whole "I have a fetish for trains and rail tracks" thing, I'm on board. New song is cool and promising, I'm pretty sure this new record will be better than Abandoned.

So did anyone else manage to score tickets for the second round of Have Heart dates? I managed to cop tickets for myself, my brother, and a friend for the outdoor date in Worcester.

 

I just got my one ticket for the second LA show. The ticket does say it’s for July 12-13 and not the 11th, but I’m sure it’ll sort itself out. It’s already sold out

 

I got 4 tickets for the 2nd Boston show. Looks like they're still available too. I don't really need 4 though, so if anyone needs a pair, hit me up.

 

Going to the July 6th show. Possibly the hardcore show of the year imho. Cannot wait.

 

Going to this tonight. I kind of want to get there early to check out Fists of Fury since it's their first show but then it's another 2.5 hours before Creeping Death plays. Anyone familiar with any of the other support bands?

 

Shame are super good live, and vatican are sick. Highly recommend not missing them

 

Got tickets to the Leeds matinee, which has a much cooler line-up than the evening show. I'm not mad. Mil-Spec and The Flex rule !

 

I can't imagine Have Heart playing a big outdoor stage. Worcester night 2 will be interesting.

 

I too am wondering where the Palladium has an outdoor stage/setup?

 

I know Worcester has held outdoor hardcore and metal shows before but I’ve never been.

 

Wish I had seen your post sooner. I only saw Creeping Death and Judiciary. I'll have to check out Vatican and Shame though.
