has to be a surprise reunion show, right ?

 

nate ruess hasnt done shit for YEARS this is the perfect time for their reunion

 

Wouldn’t be surprised if the viewing party is also a listening party for a new album from them. I can dream.

 

I feel like they might just come out and play like 5 songs acoustic but I’d love for it to be a full on reunion

 

They were good when I saw them live when touring Interventions, but I’d be more interested in hearing a new single right now.

 

this is definitely what I am expecting more than anything

 

Nate has been gone for what seems like forever. Whether a solo album, Format, or FUN, I hope to hear new music from him this year. It's been too long.

 

I could imagine him laying low they could’ve definitely spent time off and on over the past few years making a Format record.

 

listened to my DP vinyl this morning and side 2 is literally Pick Me Up, Dog Problems, Oceans, Dead End and like what a perfect run of songs

 

Just looked up Dog Problems on Wikipedia and apparently Josh Klinghoffer played guitar on "I'm Actual," "Time Bomb," and "Dead End." Who knew

 

Dog Problems has honestly aged as well as any record from its genre/era. The lyrics in particular have just always been a cut above.

 

Oceans is still one of my favorite songs of all time. Literally a perfect song in every way conceivable.

 

I don't remember doing a Nate Ruess poll, so maybe that'll be tomorrow.

 

I know it's kinda crazy, but I still consider Dog Problems my favorite album of all time

It was my favorite for a long time. Still might be. I’d almost forgotten how fantastic it was until I started listening to it quite a bit over the last couple weeks.
