Don't Leave Me will probably always be my favorite track by them. Time Stands Still, Last Song and Top of the World are up there too. Those first two albums are so good.
always thought Another Heart Calls would've made an excellent music video with the performance of the back and forth vocals.
Listened to this album last week, and had completely forgotten how much I loved Another Heart Calls back in the day. It’s still a good song, but it feels a bit dated to me for some reason, maybe since i seem to recall that there was kind of a fad going on with a lot of male pop punk bands releasing at least one song with a female doing dual vocals around that time.
I love Kids in the Street. Crazy that it's been six and a half years. Sadly, I doubt we'll ever get another album from this band.
We never even got the other 2-song EP that Tyson said they were going to release around Christmas time (He said that after the Sweat EP release)
I'm somehow only now discovering Sweat & Close Your Eyes. Sweat is fun, but woah Close Your Eyes is great! I can't believe it's been almost 7 years since their last album. What gives?
For a band that hasn't put out a full album in seven years, they are super active on social media. Every time I see them pop up I think it's going to be an announcement and it's almost always just a flashback video or something.
Don't record labels normally push the bands to have a normal release schedule? Are they still signed?
if anyone is interested, this is starting tomorrow: The All American Brackets (All American Rejects bracket) • forum.chorus.fm
They said last year or so that they are no longer with a label. They've been working on their own schedule for over a decade now. Seems we might be getting something soon, though.
That was an interesting watch. That Sweat/Close Your Eyes video is so damn good, and I think Close Your Eyes is one of their best songs.
