Last 24 hours really showing nobody sadder than the Snyder die hards. So many times I've seen the whole Man Of Steel trailer tweeted like "THIS is a real trailer" Took me way too long to remember that was Fillion under that hairdo lol. Nothing I disliked about this trailer though. Excited
John Murphy made some awesome music for Sunshine. And the Guardians holiday special had some whimsy I enjoyed, too. I truly hope he puts something special together for this movie.
Showed it to my 4 year old, just so she could see Krypto and she asked to watch the whole thing. When it ended, her takeaway was “It looks kind of sad.” I hadn’t viewed it that way but, between the action and easter eggs, it is pretty sad. Or at least the sadness that comes paired with [h word] and love.
watched on my laptop and was less bothered by the "looks" than on my phone but it still looks like it has a spiderman 3 issue with way too much going on
i wasn't commenting on the quality of the movie, it isn't the worst spiderman movie. it objectively has too much going on.
Spider-Man Discussion (Official Web) • forum.chorus.fm A place for Tim to yell at everyone the answer is spider-man 3
Imo, “too many characters” (or villains, etc.) is a myth that misdiagnoses what the problem with different movies is. Like, Dark Knight has as many villains as Spider-Man 3 and Amazing Spider-Man 2, lol. It’s all in how you structure the story. James Gunn has traditionally done a good job imo with having a lot of elements that weave together into a cohesive, thematically effective whole, with arcs that make sense. I have full confidence that all the pieces here will work just fine.
lol, I still “need” to make a new ranking now that I’ve seen Kraven. As of right now, I’m very confident that Far From Home is my least favorite actual Spider-Man movie, and Morbius is my least favorite including spinoffs.
Would you believe that Madame Web is my favorite comic book movie I’ve seen this year? Well… Actually, The People’s Joker is. But if we don’t count Vera Drew’s unhinged, satirical queer fan film masterpiece, then yeah, it’s my girl Cassie Webb. Truly a camp classic, beneath only Let There Be Carnage in my Sony Universe of Marvel Characters ranking.
Oh I guess, but I’m counting it. As far as I’m concerned, when a movie becomes widely available enough to be available to me, it’s a new release, lol. Not like I’m at whatever festival, etc.
