The album is certainly one of its time. I might dive back into it. I remember it being fun.

only thing I could find. Appears to be taken off of streaming. There was a MySpace link, but I didn’t click it.

I thought they took the money and ran aside from the one album.

Bob's Burgers did another Say Anything inspired van in a recent episode: "Slay Anything"

Could be a movie reference, but they did an Is A Real Boy one in an early season.

ahhh yes that makes more sense haha. If I remember correctly, there was a Max acoustic covers album, Perma acoustic covers album and a Sherri solo Say Anything covers album. I think... but they were all shotty, no key art, just a dropbox link, and mostly uninspired and forgettable

Enjoyed the s/t stream. Max and Sherri sounding on point and funny. Haven’t heard most of these songs acoustic or even live.

Having said that, a new song max played was so bad I can’t even comprehend how he could write lyrics so awful haha

That being said he sounds so good here, and I honestly really love that melody just wish the lyrics...

Those lyrics are from an A$AP Rocky song. 2 Chainz verse.

Fans of this band circa 2008 should probably check out the new Grad Life. It’s uncanny how much this dude sounds like Max lol

  21. Woah what the fuck LOL

I dig it. But these could’ve been on any of the first three SA records lmao

It's not just his voice, it's the way he's singing, his lyrics and Let's Make A Scene they do the same musical shifts/transitions that early SA did. It's just SA again haha.
