If the unannounced headliner is who I think it is, I have a feeling tickets could go very quickly. I'm going to grab them right when they go up just to be safe.
If you wanna play it a little risky, I’d wait until a couple weeks before when people’s plans fall through and get one discounted on the secondary market, to be honest.
Honestly, I've never seen this strategy be all that risky if you're in the market for a 3 day pass. Even last year, when I thought that there was a chance this wouldn't be viable, there were still three day passes available the Thursday of Riot Fest for less than face value.
Another thing the announcement today made clear is there will be no Thursday pre-party. My soon-to-be 38 year old body is more than fine with that.
Agreed, really glad that was a one-off. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the other big four-day fests move back to three days with how rough ticket sales have reportedly been this year.
