Yeah, it's a shame more of Aaliyah's output isn't on streaming. Apparently it's a complicated issue too, so I doubt we'll be seeing them on their anytime soon. Which is a shame because its the 20th anniversary of her death in a couple of weeks her self titled would have been a great one to do. And having the R.Kelly produced album as the classic album definitely isn't the way to go. I feel the conversation would focus on their relationship and not on the music. Saying that, the music is definitely tainted, so not sure many would be comfortable listening to it. I know I wouldn't be.
Niki has the potential to get really huge, looking forward to listening to that tomorrow. She produces most of her own shit too
Her album is really excellent, the production is amazing and she has some really creative songwriting ideas

Most of these R&B end of the year lists that are slowly popping up don't have JoJo's "Good To Know" on them and it's a travesty. That album is a triumph.
Also, while we're at it, Mariah's "The Rarities" has some absolutely amazing songs on it that blow most other songs that came out this year out of the water and Brandy's "B7" is a return to form and easily one of the best albums of the year.
Definitely. Not listened to much RnB this year, but that and the Liv.e album are both really fucking good. Big fan of the 070 Shake album too.
