how do you pull off a 3 lp punch like cars, threads, and saved. gonna have to discog run.

 

oh not to mention dead oaks ep. wtf

 

And the Neighbours EP!!!

 

Got a handmade version of that EP that was meant for record labels! Their preorder site for it went down on release and because they were super cool and we used to email, I mentioned it and they immediately sent out a spare copy they weren’t going to sell. Came with a photo, a friendship bracelet, a sticker, a badge and an eco-friendly case for the EP, as well as a bonus recording of a weird voicemail at the end of the CD. It was such a nice personal touch.

I don’t think it’ll be quite as long of a wait this time. I wouldn’t be surprised if we get something next year

 

Absolutely not promising a 1:1 comparison, but this record came out today and reminds me a bit of Threads in places. Great record regardless, definitely worth your time

I’ve come around on Saved but it’s Threads that will forever reign supreme. That record is just perfect.

 

You’re right on about that. Bass tone in the opener sounds real similar to Prehistoric

threads cars then saved and they are all close by a razor thin margin.

 

I think Cars is like my all-time favourite album so I’m biased. But they were also the first band I ever saw play live too. Have a strong sentimental attachment to that era. Can blast any of their albums and EPs confidently knowing I don’t need to skip anything.
