I could barely make it through the first mission once you reach the monastery, it was actually hilarious.

according to my sister I picked the trash tier house, so it's only partially on me or whatever I need to tell myself to feel better about it haha

 

i only ever tried to finish a lunatic run once and it was really frustrating.

but tbh i’d do it again

is there like a good primer video I can watch that relays the less intuitive or obvious concepts that are paramount to "gittin' gud" at fire emblem?

 

there isn’t a tutorial/guide in the menu? FE’s always been pretty good at introducing game mechanics. the popovers (if there are any) should be enough to get you started.

there’s also a QoL option where you can see all the enemy movements so you could strategize accordingly. in the old days (pre Awakening) we had to map those shit out manually

 

that is all well and true but the game expects you to understand a lot of concepts early on, but I'm sure I'll get the hang of it, maybe I'll watch something before bed later

 

Which Hero skin is everyone planning on maining? I still haven't played XI yet because I was waiting for the Switch version so it'll probably be VIII for me, at least until I play XI.

Sent out my joy cons to get repaired today. I filled a repair form and got a UPS shipping label from Nintendo 2 days later. I have USPS bubble mailers you can get for free (everyone should take advantage of that) and just used two of those to package them and stuck the UPS label on the bubble mailer. I'll let y'all know how long everything takes and if it's legit. So far I have had to spent zero dollars.

I cancelled my cable and signed up for Hulu live tv recently and I must say it feels suuuuuper good to watch all my TV on my switch.

 

Holyyyyyyy shit. I'm probably still getting it for PS4 but Outer Worlds on Switch is huge.

 

If it runs okay I will get it on Switch too probably. The One X version is very tempting but I'm more likely to finish it on Switch.

 

Me getting it on PS4 or Switch will probably depend on when the Switch version is out

a really promising RPG game. these guys made fallout 3 new vegas, the south park rpg, and their previous company made one of my fav games of all time - Fallout 2

they make really good storylines that make you choose decisions that don’t have straightforward right or wrong answers. and one of their fortes is how they make npcs react toward you because of actions you make as you go through the game.
