I really enjoy the free roam team mode in the new Mario Party. Every move you make has to be so strategic.

 

Surprised this hasn’t been posted yet but looks like we’ll find out if those leaks are true or not really soon

The last Bubsy game I played was 2 for SNES and it was amazing.

 

There was this weird unlicensed Bubsy indie game for PC that was wild

 

Oh my god Bubsy, I had (have) the first one for Sega Genesis and forgot about it completely. Honestly had no idea it was a full franchise. Definitely one of my favorite games as a young kid.

 

Anyone play the Bonkers game on Sega Game Gear? Loved that trash.

 

No but I loved the Bonkers cartoon on Disney

 

Mine too actually even though it's objectively bad in some regards. haha. I am not in the loop with gaming culture whatsoever so when I rediscovered Bubsy like 20 years later and realized he was a fairly popular meme, I was blown away.

Even though they kind of marketed the last PS4 game only half-seriously, I thought it could have been a decent game if there were more to it. It was basically three villains and obstacles repeated over 8 levels. Hopefully the develop this new one a little more.

 

splatoon 2 going out with a bang. so sad for December. But I hope we have more splatfests.

And done. That was fun. I’m in no hurry to come back to it but I’ll probably replay it the same way I do my favorite horror movies. Figuring out what to play next.

Recommended to people who enjoy supernatural stuff with chatty protagonists (Stranger Things, Doki Doki Literature Club, 999, etc)

 

I forgot I bought Crypt of the Necrodancer a few weeks ago and was playing it last night. Fun but hard as fuck. Obvi the soundtrack is A+.

 

Diablo III is gettin good marks, anyone picking it up?

 

definitely picking it up at some point, especially because I never touched the expansions. might be a good holiday get for me.

 

i just remembered the Japan eShop has some games that are available in English but not yet released in NA. Also they have demo versions, including Crypt of the Necrodancer.
