He wrenches on it. He thinks it's his.

I just want this to be good. The trailers are doing it for me despite that predicable jump-scare at the end of the trailer.

Waiting for the kids on Twitter to be all like,"Ugh, what a total ripoff of Stranger Things"

I liked the teaser a lot more. They caught the tone of the first movie really well with it. This looks creepy, but maybe too much IT? Could just be me.

    Ive never seen original IT.

These trailers make it seem like this one isnt going to be able to scare.

I would say that's actually backwards, I'm currently watching the original and am finding it nowhere near as scary as that trailer.

Pennywise is just one form of It.

He's the most marketable aspect of the film, so I'm cool with him being featured here. I hope this film kills it at the box office so the second part definitely happens.

I always like the tv movie until I started reading the book. The book is infinitely better so hopefully this is closer to the source material

Awesome. I hope the movie is as brutal as the book. I've been listening to IT on audible and I was surprised how violent it was compared to the tv movie. I know the book is about kids being murdered but Jesus, some of those deaths were gnarly

Still bitter that Fukunaga was taken off the project.

    trailer looks good

the book is bonkers but yeah its a lot creepier and more gruesome. King definitely falls back on some of his old habits but its a really good book all in all. The backstory of "It" and the cosmic forces at play is really neat even if its straight up copying the Lovecraftian mythos

I highly reccomend it. It's 45 hours but definitely worth it
