    I’ve just come to accept they’re going to keep remaking everything from when I was kid again and again until I die. So, there’s a new Scream trailer released today.

    Feels weirder considering that Scream tv series was pretty recent too. Meanwhile the I Know What You Did Last Summer series arrives this week as well.

    I actually thought this one looks like it has potential from the trailer. Nice that it’s a continuation as well rather than a reboot / remake

    Having said that, the second they made them god awful Turtles movies and Miami Vice movie I resigned myself to the fact that they would try and destroy almost everything I love.

    I'd add that the plot/concept of the movie lends itself to a series. A big ensemble in on a tragic event who have their own secrets. Scream on the other hand just has a series of people who have fun terrorizing and murdering people - and then loved ones who want revenge for their defeat.

    The most impressive part of this franchise is the cast continuity, especially in the horror genre.
