    i'm curious to see how this affects the film's reception/opening/media slant. it's super cool that such deliberate action was taken and equally impressive that they pulled it off in the time they did, but as a moviegoer i would be constantly taken out of it knowing that Plummer was rushed in and was probably alone on set for a lot of this lol.

    Amazing they've taken such swift action; I don't recall ever seeing an actor being replaced in a movie after its trailer was released.

    For context, they just started shooting on November 20th and they've already recut the trailer. Nine days later. This has to be some sort of record.

    Same here. To be fair though, most moviegoers probably don’t follow the scene close enough to know Spacey was even replaced
