So Astoria just emerged as chorus.fm's favourite Marianas Trench song, beating out Masterpiece Theatre III in the final round of our Marianas Trench bracket. Thanks to everyone who participated - it was fun!
6-2 Honestly I think MP3 is a better song contextually within the album, but Astoria just wins out as the better and more impactful song overall
I don't disagree with that. You really need a full appreciation for the entirety of Masterpiece Theater to get the most out of MPIII. Astoria stands on its own in that regard, but dammit if they aren't both phenomenal.
I WAS LIKE "OMG IS THERE A NEW SINGLE!?" when I saw the notification. We Should Be Friends is okay - I spun it a couple of times but didn't have a lot of lasting value for me.
