Hailu absolutely rocks. I found him when he opened a few shows for Parquet Courts (a band i appreciate more the older i get), of all acts. So good!

That was probably one of the best shows I’ve ever seen, he performed with a bunch of guests including Mndsgn, Bilal, and the 100-year-old Marshall Allen of Sun Ra. Everything was improvised on the spot and 3k spoke to the crowd a lot - just truly a magical night.

Then once you feel like it can't get any weirder try On the Corner. Get Up With It and onward it gets choppy.
