  6. I think this is one of my favorite pop-jazz records of the century

Name some others plz! I don’t know too many that sounds like this and I need more. Racking my brain, the only i can think of are Stereolab, Broadcast, Aquaserge…

  8. Yeah I mean part of why I could say that is I'm not sure how many have really hit me...does Norah Jones have any albums in the 2000s? I love her. The 2002 Steely Dan record?? Does the DoMi JD Beck album count? As far as stuff that actually sounds like this I'm stumped

Guess you could say Vanishing Point and probably Salami Rose Joe Louis share some similarities. There are others, but am struggling to think at the moment. They have a pretty unique sound tbf.

Maybe Hiatus Kaiyote? Probably more soul/RnB with jazzy influences

  12. Great band though, jazz pop not a completely out there label for them

Brijean or Kit Sebastian are also poppy with jazz influences

yes to all those suggestions. love that Domi and JD Beck album, as well as Hiatus Kaiyote. need to check the others.

feel like I remember some of The Most Serene Republic having this sound though I'm not super familiar enough with them to confirm.

I really love the ambient-jazz-pop of this band, but it’s a different vibe. still worth checking
