I don't see any major (logistical) red flags beyond maybe Erykah Badu. As for other red flags, let me once again say fuck T.I. and giving him stage time.
Just saying bc last year the picnic had extremely long lines, massive delays, bad communication, etc. To top it off, there were torrential downpours. And they didn’t offer any refunds
So, because What Up Gangsta has been on a load of reels on IG recently, I thought i’d give Get Rich or Die Tryin’ a proper listen for the first time in ages and it’s a lot better than I remembered. A few tracks has that cheap sounding production that Eminem loved, but there are some proper bangers on it.
Been obsessed with Ovrkast’s discography this week. His stuff never fully clicked for me before for whatever reason but since giving his album from last year another go I’ve been hooked. The EP RESET! from 2023 might be my favourite from him, Seamless is such a great opener.
I know others are so-so on it, but I'm loving that MIKE and Earl collab with Surf Gang. The production is awesome. Most I've liked a MIKE project yet and some of my favorite Earl stuff since Some Rap Songs. Desperately want to see them in Cleveland or Pittsburgh but I know that crowd is just going to be filled with white people who look exactly like me, lmao
Revisited some of Black Milk’s discog and his album Tronic is very good. Production and beats are super fluid and interesting. Plus there’s a Pharoahe Monch featured track that rules.
