Almost through my second listen. I wanted another record as tight & immediate as Lavender, which this definitely isn't. It's still a very good record, but it's gonna take time to grow on me. As for the cover art, it's fine. It's not like it's Yeah Yeah Yeahs' Mosquito. Could be better, could be worse, but it fits the tone of the album and I appreciate that.

I was really surprised by how much I liked this. The singles were alright but none of them hit like the stuff on Lavender. But listening to it as a whole, it’s a really strong record. Excited to spend more time with it.

  15. I think I liked my first listen of this more than my first listen of Lavender tbh. Should be a great record to spend some more time with

And that artwork isn’t good but it’s not something I’d even really think to comment on if it wasn’t being talked about

The more time I spend with this the more impressed I am by it. I still don’t think anything on here reaches the heights of “Lavender Burning” but it’s all around her best yet I’d say.

Started going back to this a lot again recently. Definitely one of the year’s best imo

Really wish I had the chance to see these songs live already. Had tickets for a gig in May, but you know, carona.

I still really like this record, and even though I haven’t been listening as much lately, I listened to this a ton in the early stages of quarantine. I’ll probably always associate the album with that spring, specifically. It’s comforting.
