Weird double posting going on!

 

It's my fault. My WiFi connection gets crappy and it makes it look like the page isn't loading and nothing's posted so I hit post again and then it double posts. It's not a Chorus issue

 

Ah weird. Haha. Stupid wifi.

 

my WiFi sucks, need to get ethernet jacks throughout the house.

 

Man I think I found AP through AltPress somehow, maybe a comment on an ad? I lurked for 2 years and I'm pretty sure I set up an account to defend Hayley Williams or something. I don't even want to know what my first posts were. Probably mega embarassing because I was 17.

 

I have embarrassing posts dated weeks ago. I'm a consistent idiot!

 

Two explosions went off at Brussels Zaventem airport.

 

I know that I lurked AP for most of 04-05 and finally joined in Feb. 06. Think I found the site via Purevolume? I used Purevolume and MySpace for everything back then.

I still bump Page Avenue, Fallen, Meteora, and Hybrid Theory every now and then.

Only old AP staff I remember being friends with consistently were Tony Pascarella (I think?) and Alex Djaferis (still friends).

I'm surprised at my lack of surprise over Brussels. It's become so common and it's not alright. Heart hurts for all those injured and those who lost family.

Think that catches me up.

 

Legit no idea how/why I joined AP. I joined in 2008 but didn't post a lot until like 2012.

 

I joined cuz my old friend Kyle M. (Kbm600 I think his username was?) used to find music from it and after he introduced me to so much I decided to make an account and join the community.

 

So sad. Always wish I had more to say at times like this, it's so overwhelming.

 

Really terrible. Brussels is such a great city.

I found AP.net because I would read reviews for these bands I was just getting into like Thrice and Brand New and liked skimming the review comments to get more opinions.

I then decided that I missed being part of an online community (posted a little about Yu-Gi-Oh! somewhere in my younger days) and picked literally the best forum I could have picked to sign up to.

 

man I don't remember how I found it at all. Probably looking for warped tour rumors or Vanna rumors or something

 

He sometimes does the Going Off Track podcast.

I think he works some big corporation and does events for them. Something like Chevy.

I started reading AP when Chris Fallon reviewed Punchline's Just Say Yes in 2008.

 

I remember discovering the site to read an old Scott (original blink drummer) interview. I think I realized they had good blink news among many other bands I liked at the time.

Honestly there are very few bands I've discovered that weren't some way associated through reading this site.

I never ventured to much in the message boards, just the news.

Care to share what the other bands are? Only reason i ask is the first 2 years of HS this was pretty much my thing and I think we would have alot of the same bands haha.
