    Not Big Chungus

First year following the World Cup and am loving every minute of it. Now starting to get into the Premier League. Have eyes set on Aston Villa. Anyone have a team they’re keen on? Would love insight into the league

It usually helps when you post your American (assuming here?) teams and what sort of success/values you're used to in regards to Sports? For example, some folks aren't trophy driven and some folks don't necessarily expect the best players joining all the time.

Definitely come over to the standard thread, as I don’t want to clog up this one with advice for a team! But as Kris said, let us know a bit about you and what you like and we can recommend some teams.

I lived in Birmingham for years, and some of my friends support Villa. They went through some difficult times but have been having a brilliant few years by recent standards. Just won their first major trophy in about long, long time. They’re a fun team!

How much of an upset would it be for England to lose this one

Huge. It'd be a shock for a "powerhouse" African team to win this game let alone this particular nation.

Probably just as big as Germany losing to Paraguay. Maybe bigger. Really, really big.

On the one hand, England losing would squander yet more of their best talent and probably represent the best chance they have of winning a major trophy up in smoke. But on the other hand it would be funny

Brutal, every first half we've played has been absolutely wank.

I think that might be the worst 23 minutes England have played in a decade.
