Still annoyed I missed out on the TAOM pressing. Also need Odd How People Shake. I do have Art Damage at least.
Yeah I managed to grab that repress to from a few years ago. I’ve never really been a fan of the tri-colored vinyl, so I went with the translucent yellow which turned out great.
David Marion is on Peer Pleasure this week... a lot of talk about memory drip and very little about Fear Before but... On the end of Fear Before: He logged onto Facebook and saw the band was on hiatus. That's how he found out. Crosspost with Fear Before thread.
He is good friends with Brandon it sounds like. They were going to a show together after the recording he said. But he doesn’t mention Adam much. But he did sing on one of Adam’s songs on All Human so I don’t think they hate each other or anything. I think it was just a long build up of tensions that led to the end of fear before. Brandon also drummed on all human FWIW.
. If you all never checked out All Human then I would recommend checking it out. This track has David on it and is probably closest Fear Before sounding thing since the self titled came out. David is also on the track "And So Peter Dances" on this album. (I think this album is a really great all around and heads and tails above the first All Human album.)
David was on the Bardown Breakdown podcast today. Probably the best of the 3 podcasts he has done so far. They didn't seem too familiar with memorydrip so it was mostly all about Fear Before. From the Tourrette's Guy commercial they did to why they changed the name, etc. One thing I thought was interesting about that is that he said they were planning on releasing 4 albums all under different names. Fear Before and then March of Flames and then ??? (he didn't continue on) He also said (paraphrase) they didn't want to hire a PR person so no music news sites have given memorydrip any press because they don't have a PR person to send them that they can copy/paste.
Yeah, adam is back left. David is front long hair. Front right is Trent Jacobi who is the crew member who was on all their tours and was injured in 2009. (You can google it) Not sure on back right.
if this band comes back i honestly can't think of another band i'd like to see return. we have new heavy heavy low low, blood brothers did a tour, new drop dead, gorgeous is coming, even saetia reunited. this is the big one.
David toured with Teenage Wrist on the their latest Poison the Well/Better Lovers tour (also some Glassjaw shows). He did their merch and then went up and sang the song Cigarette Two Step with them each night. Their old drummer (Goose) is the drummer in Better Lovers.
