    memorydrip is :
David Marion (Fear Before the March of Flames)
    Marshall Gallagher (Teenage Wrist)
    Justin Forrest (Caspian, SOM)

Not much is guaranteed in life, but one thing is certain - every one of us will encounter circumstances that bring us to our knees. How we react in these situations will define us, moving forward into the next phase of our existence. Memorydrip’s debut self-titled EP is a meditation on this idea, an exercise in acceptance and an affirmation of hope.

The group started as a momentary spark in the darkest depths of the covid-19 lockdown, when vocalist David Marion (Fear Before the March of Flames) reached out to guitarist Marshall Gallagher (Teenage Wrist) over social media. Mutual admiration led to some experimentation, and shortly thereafter they recruited drummer Justin Forrest (Caspian, SOM) to complete their self-produced collection of songs. The result was a vulnerable yet expertly crafted record that combines each member’s dynamic post-hardcore sensibilities.

Woven into an ominous, sometimes jarring arrangement, is a message of positivity. Marion’s lyrical content is delivered with a zen-like confidence and wisdom, derived from triumph over hardship and resulting self actualization. For the members, the beginning of Memorydrip signals a new era; a testament to the fact that life does indeed get better.

Everyone can draw their own lines, of course, but I'm going to put this here.

It's a quote from a post in the accountability thread (but I'm not quoting that post directly as this was the personal experience of that user and I don't want to re-traumatize them or bring them into a thread they're not otherwise a part of):
If you have a problem with abuse apologism or gaslighting or men in bands who are okay with other men being rapists, you shouldn't support Teenage Wrist.

I see where they fired a guitarist in 2020 from Teenage Wrist for allegations but I don't see anything about Marshall... I never listened to Teenage Wrist or followed them so I could be missing it via search though?

Is there a fourth member? The promo photo on Spotify has 4 guys, but only lists the 3 mentioned above.

Excited for this. I loved Fear Before back when they were active.

Only an EP based on the blurb on their web-site.

It honestly sounds like it would fit right in on The Always Open Mouth, and that's a huge compliment

Enjoyed my first listen. Felt like a perfect meeting point between the styles of TAOM and Fear Before.

I have to admit that I’m a little disappointed we didn’t get anything as hard as we heard in “Good for it”. But I enjoy the release overall.

Goes track by track for memory drip plus fear before talk for the last half.

David was on the Bardown Breakdown podcast today. Probably the best of the 3 podcasts he has done so far. They didn't seem too familiar with memorydrip so it was mostly all about Fear Before. From the Tourrette's Guy commercial they did to why they changed the name, etc. One thing I thought was interesting about that is that he said they were planning on releasing 4 albums all under different names. Fear Before and then March of Flames and then ??? (he didn't continue on)

He also said (paraphrase) they didn't want to hire a PR person so no music news sites have given memorydrip any press because they don't have a PR person to send them that they can copy/paste.
