It’s the type of game that demands you to sink days into it but yeah, I can see why it might not be the most compelling game even considering the time investment. I actually got too overwhelmed by the game and have been on a month long break from it lol
Welp, gotta start over from scratch. I stopped playing FE 3 houses a few weeks after getting it. I was playing a couple hours a day and loving it and then I got to the boss fight where you have to break down the weak points on that man-turned-beast and it keeps regenerating. I was playing on the unforgiving difficulty and with permadeath on and had to restart a lot before getting past it. I ended up putting the game down a while to give myself from separation from it because it stressed me out. Really want to go back to it and maybe turn off the hardcore modes so I can just enjoy and not torture myself.
Ahh I can never do the permadeath mode first play through. I don’t really like to play difficult games lol although I did sink 300 hours into fortnite

Ah. I was playing that since the beginning until season 4 started. Then my Epic account got hacked and after grappling with customer support for like a week unable to play, I just gave up and moved on. Had some great fun on it but I won’t pretend sniping someone for them to suddenly a fortress in front of you didn’t miff me off. A permanent no build mode would’ve been my jam, because despite getting good at it, it just made everything so slowwww. Did you ever play Apex?
