I’ve been binging the Dirty Harry movies. Wildly awful politics, but damn good, nasty little thrillers.

 

An unforeseen side effect of the pandemic is that with so few new films to fill the cinemas over here in the UK, older films are getting re-released when they reopen that I have never seen on the big screen. So Gladiator, Taxi Driver, Total Recall (4K 30th Anniversary Edition), and The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring are the first ones to get that privilege.

 

I was mostly disappointed with the movies the local theaters decided to bring back to fill out their roster. I saw Pulp Fiction and Jurassic Park, but I would have liked more.
