Well there’s no way this won’t be controversial

What a weird list.

 

Went straight to the top 20. Even as a massive Simpsons fan it’s hard to call it number one with so many bad seasons. Also lol at Parks and Rec being number 9.

 

Happy to announce that I agree with that list 100% and have no need to discuss it further

 

My personal top five in some order would be

Parks and rec
30 rock
Fresh prince
Boy meets world
Ted lasso (recency bias)

 

Parks and Rec can be any number it wants 1-10.

Top 3 is good

 

Seinfeld is probably always going to be my favorite, but the Simpsons casts such a huge cultural shadow that it works.

 

I haven’t watched an episode of the Simpson’s in 15+ years.

yeah I watched it growing up every Sunday until like halfway through high school. Haven’t watched an episode since.

 

It is probably okay to treat the first ten years of the Simpsons as a separate thing from its current form, just like South Park. It isn't like it is a bad half of a movie where they have to work together, but just a continuation of a brand. It is unfortunate because if you tell someone under the age of 30 to watch The Simpsons they will think you are blinded by nostalgia because they know it as the bland megafranchise.

 

Mare of east town was my breaking point. I’m tired.

I have seen the rest but I hope 30 rock is on there.... Very surprised schitts is 100 (loved that series) but you can only have 1 show per slot, so....
