Looking back, it is strange how little the promotional material made clear that Ana de Armas is the actual main character. I get that she’s not *huge* like Craig or Curtis or Evans but cmon

 

True, she steals the show so to speak for me.

 

Very dumb art for sure, but the movie is relatively old in retail years, so the studio is most likely trying to sell specifically to Daniel Craig fans now, not fans of the movie who already own it.

I watched the Croods movie today. Nicolas Cage really fits as a caveman.

 

I brought up the idea... and then quietly dropped it because I realized suggesting it had turned into volunteering to run it, which I'd rather not do, lol.

Still think it should happen. If the consensus is that it'd be fun to have rankings & calculate the consensus favorite(s), I'm happy to help out on the computing front. But, either way, I like the idea of following along with these discussions more than spearheading them, lol.

 

I am taking this over and starting at 1980 unless someone suggests a better year.

1980 seems like an odd year as it's kind of in the middle. I'd start with either the earliest or latest year we want to include and then move backwards or forwards.

 

1980 was going to be the earliest year because I figured a lot of people would have less to contribute. If we can start earlier I will.

 

Is this basically the same idea as the “Direct/Actor Spotlight” threads but with years?

 

I think it’ll be lists that get compiled and counted for a representative collaborated list though
